The Cause Collective is a Fiscally Sponsored Program dedicated to supporting student-athletes and their families with faith-based mentorship, equitable NIL opportunities, and holistic personal development. Through strategic partnerships with churches, mentors, and community leaders, we provide spiritual guidance, financial support, and life-building tools—while maintaining full compliance with NCAA and state regulations.

THE CHALLENGE

Young athletes today—especially those from under-resourced communities—face:

A lack of consistent, values-driven mentorship
Pressure without purpose
Financial barriers and limited access to opportunities
Minimal guidance on spiritual identity and leadership

MISSION STATEMENT

The Cause Collective is a movement to empower student-athletes spiritually, financially, and professionally. Through faith-driven mentorship and financial support, we aim to produce the next generation of grounded, influential leaders on and off the field or court.

We aim to build a holistic support ecosystem integrating spiritual growth, NIL fairness, and leadership development across the nation— through a 100-day journey rooted in faith, character, and life skills.

THE CAUSE COLLECTIVE

OUR COLLECTIVE MODEL

The Cause Collective brings together athletes and caregivers in a faith-driven model that unites discipleship, leadership, and mentorship.

Two Key Tracks

The Christian Collective (Athletes):

A 12-week discipleship and leadership journey for high school and college athletes, pairing spiritual growth with real-world mentorship, character formation, and life skills.

The Caregiver Collective (Parents & Guardians):

Monthly gatherings and a discipleship network that pairs experienced caregivers—including mothers of professional athletes—with parents of rising talent. These sessions focus on emotional health, advocacy, faith, and family leadership.

THE 100-DAY SPRINT

An immersive journey focused on leadership, character, and service:

Weekly servant-leadership themes
Small group and 1:1 mentor check-ins
Real-life application of Scripture and spiritual principles
Goal setting, reflection, and accountability

MENTEE STRUCTURE

Athletes voluntarily engage in:

Weekly Bible studies and leadership labs
Small group discussions and service projects
Ongoing accountability with trained mentors

MENTOR STRUCTURE

Spiritual Advisors: Appointed by church partners for 1:1 mentoring
Trained Mentors: Walk alongside athletes weekly

Mentors model Godly leadership, service, and purpose
